Sue Marsden, BDS Ncle
Hello, I’m Sue.
I am originally from Birmingham – but hopefully you can’t tell by my accent!
I went to Newcastle University to do my dentistry degree and graduated in 1986. I have since worked my way south. My first job was in Co. Durham in the community dental service on a two-year vocational training program, treating mainly children. I then moved to North Yorkshire into general practice, and have worked in various practices across the region including ten years in Hunmanby and eleven years in Malton.
I really enjoy my job, particularly the interaction with patients, working in a team and the satisfaction gained from helping people and achieving good results.
I have two grown up daughters, who both work in sustainability and have always been keen to save the planet.
My main interests are sport/fitness and travel. I did a sprint triathlon several years ago and my aim is to get fit enough again to do another one soon.
I love travelling and learning about different cultures. Eighteen months ago I took time out to travel around the world. India was my favourite. It was so colourful, noisy and hectic, an amazing country. Needless to say, there are still a lot more places on my bucket list I’d like to visit.
I feel very happy and privileged to become part of the Stamford Bridge Dental team and I’m looking forward to meeting and getting to know you all.
